Holds attention day after day Jan 27, 2010
By City Mama Our 18-mo-old daughter just loves this toy. She never seems to tire of flipping open the hinge doors, taking out the pieces, putting them back, rearranging them, etc. Given that so many toys seem to lose her interest within a few days, I'm impressed with this one's staying power...

Peek-a-boo Apr 27, 2010
By S. Houser My 2 year old loves this toy, he likes to move the animals around and we say animal noises with them or snoring sounds for the boy sleeping in the hay loft. He even plays a little peek-a-boo with it. Seems very durable so far, the only problem is that we keep losing the little magnetic animals haha.. but the toy is fantastic! I think any child 1 yr-4 yrs would probably enjoy this.

Great distractor Aug 18, 2010
By Amy I bought this for our trip to Yellowstone from WI. I wanted something magnetic so the pieces wouldn't tumble around in the car. My 15 month old daughter loved this! If I needed any kind of distraction I gave her the farm. She loved opening and closing the doors and saying hello and good-bye to the animals. She's now learned to make some of the animal sounds and name the animals. The only draw back is that since the pieces are not attached they fell into the seat cracks. Not a problem though. We just had to find them between the cracker crumbs. I would definitely recommend this toy. I'm now looking for similar toys for more distractions!

Just ok Aug 14, 2011
By Bargain Hunter My kids played with this at the Dr's office. A four year old and a twenty month old. They liked it at first but quickly tossed it aside. They both did all the flaps and we talk about all the animals and that was that. I wouldn't buy it. The toy they kept fighting over was a hand held magnetic maze.

Shapes get caught in edges Mar 28, 2011
By jean My daughter loves this toy! But, the magnets get caught in the ridges under the door and it is hard to grab the pieces and lift them out of the windows. My daughter is younger than the recommended age, but even I struggle to get the pieces out easily. She does LOVE opening and closing the door and playing with the pieces. I have to sit with her and help her when she gets frustrated with the pieces getting stuck.
