Top quality costume Mar 14, 2010

Like all of Melissa & Doug toys, these costumes are very well made. We have a 4 and 6 year old who both fit well in them because they are easy fitting and use velcro fasteners. These are a little more pricey than plastic costumes, but they aren't scratchy, have good detailing, come with a shield and sword. The kids wore them to the Medieval Knights show and fit right in with the staff! They love them.

Was elated to see the choice of fabrics used in the costume. The bright colors are velour and the fasteners are meant to take some use. My son absolutely loves it. the gray fabric arms look like the chain maillot(sp?) they are supposed to resemble and have tiny holes to breathe. Very nice quality product. Fit was perfect for a five year old.

This costume is very well made, and very appropriate for kids with the foam sword and shield, unlike some of the plastic ones you find out there. My son wants to sleep with this on he loves it so much!

Excellent product quality. Our 3yr old has SO much fun playing in the costume. The Sword and shield are very safe and reasonably durable. We'll be checking out the other costumes in the range based on this.

The quality is what I expected from Melissa & Doug. Considering what is out their for boys dress up - this is great value and a lot of fun. The boys are enjoying playing kings and knights!
