My mom let me pick out a gift for my friends party and I thought this was cool so I bought it and my friend loved it. He likes everything about castles because he likes Lord of the rings and Harry Potter too. Their fun to bend and play with and I told my mom I want one for my birthday and she got me one and now we play with them all the time.

Castle and Additional characters Mar 24, 2005

I loved the castle and the additional characters. My son loves it. He got it for Christmas and turned 4 in February and plays with it often. It is durable and strond (he once stood on it). Of course, I told him not to do that again but I'm glad it was able to handle him. I love it and it's prety to look at too.

This castle playset is really well made and also scaled nicely for little hands. All three of my grandchildren play with this daily. They love it!

I bought these for my son and they are falling apart after only being played with for a short while. We have other bendable people from Plan Toys and though they are more expensive the quality is superior to the Melisa and Doug products.

Great to add to castle Dec 30, 2007

We have the Melissa & Doug castle but it doesn't come "furnished." We bought these dolls and some Disney princess figurines. While the Disney princesses made the biggest hit due to familiarity, these are also popular with my 4 year old daughter and 2 year old son. I like to that they provoke a little more discussion than the Disney figurines - as to what roles each plays in the castle.
