I buoght this chimp for myself. I have orderd plush animals from Melissa & Doug before and have been pleased! He has a very expressive face, and soft life-like body. For the size and quailty the price is very good!!

My two-year-old daughter loves monkeys -- and REALLY loves this one.
Very high quality. When she's not playing with it, the monkey sits in a rocking chair in her room.
Note -- I bought the monkey from Amazon on my iPhone after seeing it in a Whole Foods. Saved about $15.

Ordered this for a theatre performance. Sturdy/durable. Unable to comment regarding use as an educational toy. However, it survived handling by 21 cast members.
