If all of the plush stuffed animals manufactured by Melissa & Doug are as good as this one you will be very happy with your purchase.. The quality of construction and materials is great. The toy itself has a AAA score on the cuteness meter.. As soon as people see it they pick it right up.. It is very nice and I would consider this brand a top choice when buying others in the future..

OK so this was a gift to a friend who had to leave her dog home while she traveled. While the workmanship and quality were great, and it was beautiful i had one major problem with this plush terrier....the thing is HUGE! I was expecting it to be near life-size. This stands close to 2 feet tall and is about the size of a small black lab as opposed to a Boston terrier. makes it a bit of a problem when you're expecting something travel-sized.
Just wanted to warn you so you aren't surprised like I was.

This Boston Terrier seems to be of a great quality, but as far as life-size goes....We got this to give a child whose dog was put down 2 days earlier due to complications with cancer. It was twice as big as her pet. The picture makes it look like it is actually life-size. She loves it any way and is happy with it.

I read the reviews but was still impressed with the size of this toy when it arrived! I thought for $25 there was no way it could be as big as everyone seemed to say... I was wrong, it's HUGE. Very cute, but much too large for my 18 month old to carry around. She loves to jump on it though, it's a bigger version of our boston.
