This alligator was purchased for my 2 year old son. He loves it. It is really big compared to my 2 year old. This alligator is so cute and soft. At the time I purchased this, the description on Amazon was not correct. It is actually over 5 feet long.

Hi everyone!!!
Hope everyone is having a great day, and a wonderful Amazon shopping experience. I absolutely looooooove my Wally Gator. He's just sooooooooo cute, cuddly, wonderful, and what more can I say........ he's absolutely perfect!!!! He came really fast, as a early birthday present from my dad. My special day is on Monday October 17th, if anyone happens to want, to wish me a happy day. Everybody at my college, especially the teachers, are in awe with Wally, LOL!!!! I think because he's sooooooo big!!!! I love him because, he's so green and soft. I love the feel of his skin, plush and not all scaly and leatherly. I also like his triangular ridges, soft wrinkles, and his long long tail. I also like that he's not the least bit scary looking, and no creepy teeth or eyes, are sticking out. Wally would be terrific for any kids or adults of any age, male or female. I truly believe he's one of the best, toy alligators out there, by any toymakers, and one of the best, prouducts made by Melissa and Doug.
My only concerns are when I first took him out of his box/plastic bag, he has a funny odor to him. Then some of his fur seemed loose. Also he didn't seem as soft/cuddly. I think this is totally normal, for most stuffed animals, when you first get them though.
My other concerns are that, he seems lighter green, than in the picture. Also on his right or left belly side, next to his tail, he has this hard spill stain. Its not really a stain, but it just feels like something, hard dried on there.
Has anyone else had, any of these concerns? If so are most of them normal? I know a couple of them are. But, does anyone know what would, get that hard stain, off of Wally's side? Its not a big deal really. I just want him, to be completly soft. I can't wash him, as he's way too big. I don't want to use a spray, like Shout as I can't wash it out. I don't want to use any kind of laundry/body soap, as that might soak into the material. I might just have to leave it as is, as I don't want to make it worse. Again like I said its really not a big deal. But, any help would be really appreciated.
All in all I'm completly satisfied with my purchase. I use Wally as a pillow, and bed buddy for protection, since my boyfriend can't be with me, when I sleep. Makes things a little more comforting/soothing. I hope everbody else out there, enjoys their plush M/D alligators and love them, as much as I do Wally!!!! He always sits on my bed in my dorm bedroom, and when I come in he acts as though, he really really misses me, and just wants to be snuggled. Which btw Wally gives awesome hugs. He's about as big as my twin bed mattress. But, not overbearley big, which I really like. He's heavy and life like enough, for a real gator. But, really a big ol' softie. So, nothing to fear.
Thanks for reading my review Amazon fans. I hope you found it somewhat helpful. I just can't get over, how wonderful Wally is. I know you or your children, will cherish this keepsake, for many many years to come. At least I will LOL!!!!
Stuffed animals are also sooooooo awesome because you can, always cuddle up to them anytime of the day or night, and tell them anything good or bad, and they are always there to listen. They never say anything bad back, or tell anyone else what you said. Wally always keeps his mouth closed, and head held up proudly.

This thing is huge! It's about 6 feet long and looks great! My friend got it for me when I was looking for a giant toy alligator like the one I had as a kid. It makes an excellent throw pillow and everyone who sees it loves it. Plus for the price it is an absolute steal. Highly recommended.

This alligator is awesome!!I got it for my 6 year old son for Christmas-I hope he loves it as much as I do! It's well over 5 feet long, very plush and well made. The price is a huge plus. I would recommend this for anyone that likes stuffed animals.
