So much for "auto off" Jun 09, 2008

The primary reason for purchasing this iron was for the auto off feature. There are so few hot irons with this feature and I'm always worried I will leave it on and it will burn my countertop (or worse, catch fire). Well, it turns out that in order to use the "auto off" feature you have to set the auto off everytime you turn on the iron. In my book, this is not a true "auto off" feature and I am very disappointed that I wasted so much money on this mediocre iron.
