5This lint brush works even on carpets!  Jul 09, 2007
By G. Brown "CCI puppy raiser"
I love golden retrievers and they SHED. I am usually grooming when I am watching TV. No matter how careful I am, fur escapes and the dark rug turns golden. I use this lint brush to remove the fur and it works like magic. It is also effective on clothes, the furniture and drapes. My first one just collapsed after years of work and I am so glad to be able to find another one!

5If you have pets, you need this brush  Jan 02, 2008
By L. Shortt "LynnS"
I've had this brush for years and struggled through with a broken handle as it worked so well. Finally decided there was no reason not to replace it. So I purchased another before the existing one is completely unusable as I can't be without it with a long haired cat. This is so easy to use; no tape to unwind, no refills, just brush in the opposite direction and all the hair comes off the brush. If you have pets that shed, give it a try. What do you have to lose beside pet hair!

1They don't make them like they used to do...  Mar 27, 2008
By PCAddict
I have a recliner which is made out of a material-like suede or velour which must be brushed from time to time. I have been searching for the old style lint brush which had a nice stiff thick nape but I found this at Walgreens for $3.99 and bought it today. I was attempting to use it and quickly realized this is made very cheaply. It is more for a very small lint job and it's very difficult to remove the lint from the brush. I am on a quest to find a lint brush worth it's price and name, but I am quickly running out of choices! Most today are the sticky disposables which to me, is a waste of money and landfill. Don't waste your $4 unless you are using this brush for very minor maintenance. (Wishing I could find the old white style one my parents had!)

4Great brush, bu new shape not quite as good as the old  Mar 30, 2010
By Marcus Julia "Poetry Pimp"
I searched all over for this lint brush after my old one finally gave up the ghost. I'd kept it for a good 25 years, and finally, the fabric pulled out from the edges. That one had an oblong swiveling head on a longer handle, which made it easy to reverse the direction of the hook-type fabric's nap, and it also had a reverse side that faced in the opposite direction, so reversal was unnecessary for smaller jobs. To clean the brush, I would simply wet my fingers and push the fuzz off it with, instead of against, the nap. All in all, a great design. The new one, on the other hand, though made with the same kind of fabric, does not swivel, the handle is about 1 1/2 inches shorter, the brush head is smaller too, and it doesn't feel quite as comfortable in the hand as the old one did.

Please don't get me wrong, I'd much, much rather have the new one than to go without this cloth lint "brush," which is why I agreed to pay the exhorbitant shipping charges from Ace Hardware by Mail, or whatever they call their mail order outlet (I don't recall, offhand.) Anyway, the shipping came to almost $17, while the total cost for the three lint brushes was only about $7. Yet, I'd do it again to have this brush, and a couple of spares. You wouldn't believe how much better it is than the tape rolls, or any others I've ever used, and I can wholeheartedly recommend it.

5Helmac Magik brush  Sep 15, 2009
By Alice T.
The best hair lint removal around. The sticky kind work for a few hairs etc, but this thing keeps on going for years. No buying refills, use it, stroke the opposite direction or pull out the hair and use it again. We have lots of critters in and out of the house. This does the trick.,Helmac Magik Brush (2 Sided Lint Pic-Up Brush)
