The BEST sunscreen for total protection and sensitive skin Aug 28, 2011
By Bonnie "Buff Puff" This sunscreen is the only product I have found that does not irritate my skin and it offers incredible sun protection. I can use it all over my face and even around the eye area with no irritation what so ever. I am often out in the sun for hours gardening and kayaking and have barely gotten any color at all. It also lasts for hours but I do reapply as needed if I am sweating or if the sun is especially strong. It also lasts really well in the water. I can swim for an hour or two and I can see that the product is still there. The only downside is that it is often hard to wash off and it is very expensive. But, for this type of protection, it is worth the price and a very little goes a long way. I will never use any other product for sun protection.

The Best Sunscreen on Amazon.com Jul 27, 2011
By James Christian Reed My wife invested many hours of research before deciding to go with this sunscreen. Her research has paid off, because none of us (adults, babies, toddlers) has ever been burned when we put this sunscreen on. She is especially photo-sensitive and says this works much better than any La Roche-Posay sunscreen.
We have had a bottle of this for more than 2 years and I put it on our pre-schooler this morning without noticing any degradation in its properties. Yes, it can show a it if you don't rub it in and yes, if you have stubble on your face or legs it require even more rubbing in.
This sunscreen is always listed on EWG's Skin Deep best sunscreens list and for good reason. Check out more information here: <...>

I got free shipping on the sunscreen - it works great and is very hard to find in the store.
Perfect with my kids who struggle with eczema!
No skin reactions! Sep 05, 2011
By Megan, a reader We took a trip to Puerto Rico when my son was 7-months old, so he started swim lessons at 6 months and started on sunscreen that same day. Living in Southern California, even without the pool, we go through a LOT of sunscreen. We had been using CA Baby since it was so highly recommended, meant to be safe, etc., but he'd also had bouts of unexplained eczema all over his arms and face. Since we started solids around the same time as sunscreen, we assumed it was food-related and went through some elimination/allergy experiments to try to pinpoint. It wasn't until we started keeping detailed records to try and discover the food-related cause that I realized the eczema flared up every Saturday - and when swim lessons ended, so did the eczema. Based on other recommendations, we tried Blue Lizard, and we're so glad we did! It works very well (no burns yet - we've been using it almost daily for over a month), has no distinct smell, and best of all, no skin reactions!! It's expensive, but so are all baby sunscreens. We'll be buying this exclusively from now on.
Be warned: it is thinner consistency than most baby sunscreens, so it will come flowing out of the bottle quite fast and you'll end up having enough in your hand for the baby AND you...
