Power chopper is fantastic! Jun 06, 2006
By Nevada Jo

I purchased this item for making drinks only. I already had the "Bullet" and it always left chunks of ice in the container.
I can throw anything into the Power chopper and it makes the greatest smoothie of them all. Use it everymorning with Ice, Banana, Milk, Vanilla, and splenda! Want to lose weight? use powdered slim fast along with it! I am ordering two more for friends..

Awesome Blender Sep 22, 2007
By rooster_ranch I don't have anything to compare this to except a huge, crappy blender we got for a wedding present five years ago. I recently have been getting into making smoothies and eating more healthy and that old blender was worthless trying to make a good smoothie, so after some online research I ordered this Power Chopper instead of the Magic Bullet. I'm not disappointed, it makes the BEST smoothies ever with perfect texture. Even my husband likes them and he can spot "diet" food a mile away. :) I also used the chopping blade to dice jalepeno peppers, tomatoes and garlic for salsa and the whipping blade to make oatmeal flour, and both worked great. The compact size is also perfect for countertop use, yet works better than the old clunker blenders.
The only thing to watch for is overfilling your cup or pitcher, it will take longer to blend the right texture. Also, MAKE SURE you have the blade caps screwed on tightly before blending because I had a little liquid come out into the base the first time I used it, (the blending shook the cap loose). Now I make sure it's tight and haven't had any problems since. I also wish it was stainless steel or black to match the rest of my kitchen, but I'm too cheap to pay 40 extra dollars for a Magic Bullet - which according to numerous reviews doesn't work as well.
**My favorite simple-smoothie recipe is one banana, one DanActive and 3-4 ice cubs. YUM. Peace out.**

OK if you just want a Slushy Jan 06, 2006
By S. Salter This item does not chop, it just makes everything into soup. AsSeenOnTV was very rude and unprofessional. Save yourself the time and money.
