Love this! Better than PSSSSST Oct 15, 2008
By Doob In NM I have used PSSSSST for several years to extend the amount of time I can go between hair washings. (BTW - you can buy PSSSSST at Walgreens.) My hair is fine and gets oily quickly.
I tried this after reading some reviews. It works much better than PSSSSST - it actually makes my hair *almost* feel just-washed! The scent is a bit strong, but not unpleasant. The effect lasts into the next day, and even then, a second spruce-up works wonders on the appearance and feel of my hair. (I can't say the same about PSSSSST.)
About the nozzle (same goes for PSSSSSST) - after spraying, put the nozzle near your ear and listen for the slightest sound of spray. If you hear it, make sure you squirt a spray - continue doing this until you no longer hear the hissing. This is important! otherwise, the can leaks out all of its propellant.

Good basic dry shampoo Jan 03, 2007
By kjaxpink This is a good, basic dry shampoo. My teenage daughter, who has very fine hair that tends to get oily pretty quickly, uses it regularly as a quick touch up and it works quickly and well to give her hair a clean, fuller look. My only slight objection is that it has a distinct aroma -- not a bad one, but a noticable perfumy smell. But it's not a bad one, and if you are looking for a dry shampoo this is the best one I have found.

Dry shampoo - great idea, but... Aug 07, 2006
By DarPo1 I bought this prior to my having surgery. I wasn't able to walk up steps to take a shower, and my hair gets greasy within 24 hours, so I wanted to look semi-decent when my friends came to visit, take care of me at home. I used the spray on day 2 days after washing, and it actually didn't look too bad. It made a mess of white powder, when I brushed my hair, but ah, for the sake of vanity. Two days later, I washed my hair, and again, two days after that, tried to use the dry shampoo. The tip was totally clogged. I tried soaking the tips in hot water, and when something finally came out, it was just not as closely nice as the first time I used it. Beginners luck or whatever, I asked someone to buy me a headband and sucked in the vanity of my greasy hair. There's GOT to be a product out there that works well, right? I remember PSSSSSST from my youth, but why can't you buy that in the stores anymore? Probably for a good reason.... Nothing beats a good ol' shampooing.

This product is a terrific timesaver! Jan 31, 2007
By H. ROBBINS I have been looking for a dry shampoo for years! This one is inexpensive and works great. I have very oily hair that I would have to wash everyday without this product. Washing everyday makes the ends of my hair dry, so there hasn't been a good solution. Now I wash every 2-3 days use the product in between. It also doesn't come off chalky. You just spray it in and brush it out. This has made my life SO much easier. It's true that sometimes the head clogs, but you can wash the head with hot water and it clears. My teenage daughter also uses it during tryouts and sports days when she doesn't have time to shower. Try it and you won't be sorry!

Best I've Tried Mar 02, 2008
I've tried a few dry shampoos in my life and nothing worked until I finally tried Algemarina Dry Shampoo. It's great! I have a lot of problems right now that cause me pain and showering to wash my hair every day or even every other day isn't possible, so using this dry shampoo is a godsend. It truly makes my hair feel and look clean. I just can't recommend this enough. May sure you don't spray in too much or too close, but it's really forgiving as well. Love it!
